Summer is out and autumn is now in full force. Halloween is also looming among us; time to get out our cosplay outfits and show ourselves off on the end of that month. The days are getting shorter and the leaves here are changing color. That also means colder temperatures. I obviously can’t say that without mentioning autumn being Kagami Ochiai’s favorite season. But that’s what I’m not here to talk about.
Touhou 3: The Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dreams NES Demake is now out
As you can probably tell, we finally got The Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dreams NES Demake out. It was a summer of working on it. Don’t forget the game isn’t complete yet, as we may have to tweak the game to smash various bugs and possibly implement that online mode. If you’re a programmer wanting to help with that, we have a job posting for that.
Two new games have begun preproduction
Anyway, I have not one, but two major announcements to make. The first being preproduction on the fourth Touhou Project NES Demake, Lotus Land Story, jumping in. It’s hard to believe I’m getting to the light at the end of the tunnel. Things are getting difficult now thanks to this full-time job that I have, but I’ll be using some of those funds to keep expanding Drillimation and hopefully, give it corporate status someday.
The other major announcement is another mystery game, but I won’t tell you the name of it. That game has already entered preproduction as well, but it will be a while before that game is announced. It won’t probably release until next year, so keep your eyes out for that. I’ve already gotten the script done, and I’ve even composed a few songs.
Some of you may ask where’s White Javelin. Well, I completely forgot about it when I watched some of my older videos and I’m going to try my best to complete it. The game is receiving a complete overhaul, with a new art direction based on the PC-98-style art I’ve been doing. It ain’t going anywhere. If I ever cancel it and/or shelve the prototype, I’ll let you know.
