2014 – 2019

• 2014:
  • August – Drillimation is founded.
  • October – Drillimation’s original GoAnimate videos begin production.
• 2015:
  • May – Drillimation receives cease and desist letters from the original sprite artist over use of them in the GoAnimate videos.
  • December – The Drillimation logo is established and Drillimation adopts Dream Logos Wiki on FANDOM (then known as Wikia).
• 2016:
  • January – Drillimation quits GoAnimate following the HTML5 transition and switches to focus on game development.
  • October – Dream Fiction Wiki is established.
• 2017:
  • June – Chuhou Joutai enters pre-production.
• 2018:
  • June 17 – Chuhou Joutai enters full development.
• 2019:
  • May 25 – Chuhou Joutai demo is released.
  • August 30 – Chuhou Joutai demo is released on itch.io.
  • November 30 – Touhou 1: The Highly Responsive to Prayers NES Demake begins pre-production.
  • December 1 – Chuhou Joutai main game is complete.
  • December 13 – Drillimation drops ownership of the Dream Logos and Fiction Wikis.

2020 – present

  • January 10 – Chuhou Joutai Beta is released on itch.io.
  • January 27 – Drillipedia is launched on Gamepedia.
  • January 31 – Touhou 1: The Highly Responsive to Prayers NES Demake is released on itch.io.
  • March 20 – Chuhou Joutai full game is complete.
  • April – Preorders for Chuhou Joutai begin on Steam.
  • May 1 – Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland NES Demake enters pre-production.
  • May 22 – Chuhou Joutai is released on Steam.
  • August 18 – Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland NES Demake officially begins development.

  • November 30 – The sequel to Chuhou Joutai is announced.

  • January 1 – The sequel to Chuhou Joutai is announced to be Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided!.
  • February 28 – Jolene, the Mario Maker dog source and big member of the Drillimation atmosphere, dies of thrombocytopenia at the age of 14.
  • March 5 – Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided! demo is released on itch.io.
  • March 22 – Drillipedia’s domain name is moved to https://drillipedia.fandom.com/ in an effort for FANDOM to unify Gamepedia and Fandom.
  • May – Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided! completes development.
  • July 2 – Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided! is released on Steam. Around the same time, Touhou 3: The Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dreams NES Demake begins development.
  • September 24 – Touhou 3: The Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dreams NES Demake is released on itch.io. Around the same time, pre-production for Touhou 4: Lotus Land Story NES Demake begins.

  • February 1: Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess begins development.
