Greetings players.
With the completion of Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided!, we are proud to announce that the game will be starting beta testing to crush bugs that may have been left behind. The last thing we have left is the achievements, but what we now have is a new trailer for the game that will be releasing Friday. This trailer is to get you pumped for game’s release on July 2, 2021. That’s right. We’re releasing the game over the Independence Day weekend to coincide with the game’s theme. People should start wearing yukata to Independence Day festivities.
In addition, the following bugs that are present in the demo have been addressed in the beta:
- Your character no longer continues shooting after fainting.
- An issue involving not being able to progress past the name entry screen when getting ranked out has been addressed.
Chuhou Joutai 2‘s marketing campaign focuses on being a more powerful sequel than the original. The game had a strict time deadline and all eight stages including the post-game stage were completed over the course of thirteen weeks. You will not be able to play the post-game stage, but you can experience the full story.
The beta is scheduled to release on Friday, April 30, 2021. It will only be on itch.io, but we will get the Steam page up. If you play the beta, you will get a Steam key for the game when it officially releases on Steam. We hope you look forward to it.
