Kazuo Ozawa – Backstory

Uhh, why are his toenails sticking out of his socks? And why are they black anyway?

Kazuo Ozawa will be the stage 2 boss of Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided!. He is said to be a ronin – a samurai without a lord or master. How was he able to get into SPASDOT? You can tell just by reading the info below.

Ozawa was born on November 28, 1973 in the city of Korindo (yes, that’s the name of a city within the Drillimation Danmaku Universe, expanded from just an antique shop from its inspirational counterpart) in Gatashima Province. He is said to be part of a family involved with the Yakuza, which would eventually motivate him to join SPASDOT after he graduated high school in 1992.

Throughout the 1990s, Ozawa let a SPASDOT leader down and ended up moving to Kozankyo in exile. When he got the chance to serve another master, the master was ready to assist the cause Kazuo is aided with. Inevitably, he ended up letting his master down, when he got arrested in 1995 for an armed robbery. He got sentenced to five years in prison, but he got out early in 1997 after he testified against the other Crimsonites who took part in the raid. Following his release, he returned to SPASDOT, becoming a trainer for a number of rookie Crimsonites.

But the events in Chuhou Joutai 2 will be up to whatever the heck Driller and Kagami do to him.
