By the end of this week, Drillimation Systems will have reached the halfway point for Touhou Kourinden‘s development. Development was started in June 2022 just before the demo for Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess was released. Act 1 was completed in September 2022, Act 2 was completed in November 2022, and Act 3 will likely be completed in January 2023.
Drillimation is still hoping to complete its goal of finishing the entire game by the end of 2023. As the first RPG developed by Drillimation, we aim to attract more players since RPGs are more popular than danmaku shooters in the west.
