Monthly Updates: August 2022

Greetings, this is Driller from Drillimation Systems.

We made it to that time of the year again. Looks like summer for all of our Northern Hemisphere players is starting to come to an end. People from all over the world will be going back to school in a couple weeks with the start of a brand new school year. I’ll share some updates with you before you get back into the school spirit.

Going back to school has its upsides and downsides. The upsides are wanting to see all of your friends you never got to see during the summer holidays when the year concluded back in May or June.

Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess now accepting preorders

We’re only two months away from the release of Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess. All previous bugs have been smashed and quality assurance tests had to be done before YoYoGames discontinues 32-bit extension support in GameMaker. The Touhou RPG project will be using a new sound engine similar to the one Nintendo uses for the Super Smash Bros. series to pack in loads and loads of songs that can be used as background music.

If you want a free Steam key when the game releases, consider subscribing to our Patreon. You will also get free Steam keys to the first two games as well. More information can be found here.

New Album Available on Bandcamp

Drillimation released a new album on Bandcamp titled Kagami Ochiai’s Gagaku Works, featuring all songs that were composed before Tenrai Bakufu paused development due to unforeseen circumstances.

That’s it.

That’s all I have for this monthly update. I hope to see you again in September and we hope we have a safe release of Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess.
