Finishing a game in quarantine

More than a year ago, on March 16, 2020, Drillimation Systems had to move their operations remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As we faced the challenges within the weeks that followed, we were able to finish Chuhou Joutai: The Middle State of War and release it on Steam. On this somber anniversary, we are hopeful as the cases in the US are falling and vaccination rates are growing at an exponential rate. Our hard work and selflessness shown by so many brought us here. We are in awe of your grace, adaptability, and creativity in keeping Drillimation active and vibrant. Your collective dedication is extremely appreciated. We are in a strong position.

We express our gratitude to each and every one of our players. We ask a great deal in maintaining the well-being of ourselves. We’ve consistently risen to the occasion. We are deeply grateful. To the players, we hoped you are mindful of your well-being as we approach the release of Chuhou Joutai 2: Paraided! this summer. We are here to help you in any way we can. Help is a sign of strength. Every day brings better news in the battle against COVID-19. We are eagerly anticipating the moment when we can gather safely together and return to the activities, traditions, and interactions that make all of us indie devs special. The finish line is slowly approaching for the end of this pandemic.

We believe in you, President Biden. He’s fighting to save the world, especially America. As we think of him, we wish for his victory. He must never give in. It may feel like it’s going rough like the tides shifting against you. Trump lost and the world ended up plunging into darkness. Biden must return the light to the world.
