Hi, this is Driller from the Drillimation Systems.
Welcome to summer time (or winter time if you live in the Southern Hemisphere), and Chuhou Joutai would be the best way to enjoy this most wonderful time of the year. Not to mention, more than a week ago, the game also released on Steam to positive reviews. We recently updated the game to satisfy player demands.
Chuhou Joutai was released on May 22, 2020 on Steam. Coincidentally, it was released the same day Pac-Man celebrated his 40th anniversary! It also makes sense to point out that both games share nearly the same graphical user interface. We also want Driller’s presence to be more and more active. We recently updated the game to help players get a better experience. Like I said, we can’t simply create whatever we want. We have to reflect player feedback to ensure they get the best possible experience.
If you know Susumu Takajima, the game’s protagonist who often goes by the name of Driller, you’ll be in for a coincidence for another game launching on the Nintendo Switch and PC. Because he got his name from the Mr. Driller series, we could see some fierce competition between the two this month. Getting ready to see Susumu Takajima be pitted off against Susumu Hori is going to be a HUGE adrenaline rush!
What’s new in the version 1.2.0 update?
We addressed some problems players had in the initial release. In this new version, Kagami Ochiai is now on the player 1 side (this was a huge request) and enemies now drop Heal Berries more often. We did this as a way to boost review scores and help thwart returns. In order for a game to be successful, it must get players hooked and never let them go. We’re also launching a new ad campaign on YouTube today in an effort to get more people to buy the game.
If you purchase the game new, you will get the update automatically. If you have an older version of the game, you should update the game to reflect the changes.
What about that computer you plan on building?
Well, I’m still researching parts and once I get enough money to buy them, I will begin with the help of my brother, who’s also on the pathway to becoming an indie developer. Like I said, this machine I plan on building will have 16 GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, trying to get these parts shipped to me might take longer than usual, similar to how trying to get Chuhou Joutai approved for Steam.
My chassis is going to be beige like a computer from the 1980s and 90s. I struggled to find a chassis that was in stock and finally found one on eBay at a relatively low price. Since they are from Europe, I may have to pay extra to have it go through customs into the United States. I was taking a short break to update Chuhou Joutai, but my next project has already been decided. If you follow my social media channels, you’ll see what it’ll be.
Have a good day and get Chuhou Joutai today.
