Drillimation Systems is issuing a friendly yet firm reminder to attendees hitting the convention circuit this autumn: booth equipment is not a toy, and parents need to supervise their children.

Ahead of their appearance at the upcoming Cleveland Anime Fest on October 3, 2026 and Erie Anime Fest on October 10, 2026, the studio behind the Drillimation Danmaku Universe is taking to its official blog to clarify booth etiquette after a previous incident.

High-Tech Equipment and Respecting the Booth

While Drillimation’s family-friendly catalog naturally attracts younger fans and families, the studio emphasized that its setup requires care and proper conduct.

“Drillimation Systems is known to attract families with its games, but our booth is not a playground nor the high-tech equipment (sans the Steam Deck) are toys,” the studio stated. “Please ensure your children know proper etiquette when interacting with the Prophet Driller (and other adults they aren’t familiar with) and are respectful to fellow guests and our convention environment.”

The announcement explicitly outlines prohibited behaviors, including shouting, running around, and causing disruptions near the booth. Guests who fail to comply may be asked to leave the area, and parents are warned that they will be held vicariously liable for any financial penalties if their children damage Drillimation property.

Lessons from Previous Incidents

The reminder stems from a notable occurrence during the Pittsburgh Anime Fest in February 2026. During the event, a young attendee altered the settings on a display monitor airing Drillimation’s product reel. While no physical or permanent damage occurred, the studio aims to prevent similar incidents moving forward.
