For the first time in nearly a year, Drillimation Systems will be exhibiting at an Anime Fest, though it’s not in their hometown. This Anime Fest is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is two hours south of Erie, PA.
Throughout 2024 until early 2025, Drillimation exhibited at every Anime Fest that was held in their hometown in Erie. They were in fact the only Touhou Project-dominant doujin circle to ever exhibit at the event. It has seen a few players familiar with the franchise be surprised by it, but has nevertheless created new players who stopped by their booth.
2025 only gave Drillimation one exhibition in March of that year as a week after that convention, Pokékon took its place and kicked Drillimation out, due to having nothing related to the franchise to exhibit. Pokékon got leveled up to Adored by the Network status, and it dominates a third of their schedule in 2026. This led to Drillimation having to seek opportunities outside their hometown, and they did.
2026 will be revolutionary for Anime Fest exhibitions by introducing a whole new set of features to keep people at the booth for longer amounts of time. This includes a Steam Deck with an in-development game pre-loaded on it, allowing players to try their newest games while still playing a demo reel on a nearby monitor. Everything has been retranslated and updated, complete with a new binder showcasing everything we’ve made over the past eleven years.

What You’ll See At Our Booth

We’re located at Booth 41 at the Southeast corner of the Grand Ballroom where the event takes place. When you arrive at Drillimation’s booth, you will see four things in front of the booth. From left to right, the donation box where you can donate to help Drillimation thrive, the binder where you can explore all things Drillimation, the Steam Deck where you can play our in-development games, and the monitor playing our demo reel on loop.
The back consists of two other signs with QR codes that take you to our website and a digital version of the binder, and of course, the Prophet Driller operating his MacBook which plays the presentation shown on the monitor. This means you can get a chance to meet the Prophet Driller in person. You can use that opportunity to ask questions about the games, provide feedback, or even request commissions.
Whether or not you’ve heard of Touhou Project or anything Drillimation, we’re proud to create new fans and cherish existing ones.
Booth Rules
While you may be excited to meet the Prophet Driller, please keep these rules in mind.
- All other convention rules and hotel policies apply.
- Make sure you arrive early and check your schedule so you don’t miss out. Drillimation will be available at the start until the convention’s end. This is especially true if you want to have some time with our games.
- Please be mindful of other players waiting to play our games. We want to make sure everyone who stops by takes the opportunity to play. If you’re not sure whether or not you want to play, see how other players play the game first before you play.
- Respect the Prophet. Always ask for permission before taking a photo and it must conform to the Game Content and Brand Usage Rules, especially if you are posting selfies of yourself and the Prophet on social media.
- No food or drink is allowed in the booth area. If any of our equipment or items are damaged because of a liquid spill or food crumbs, you are responsible for any repair or replacement costs.
