Touhou Chouhatsuyou ~ Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity Has Officially Released

Nearly two weeks ago, Drillimation Systems launched a new game on Steam: Touhou Chouhatsuyou ~ Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity. The beta launched on itch.io on March 21, 2025, with the full game releasing on Steam on April 18, 2025.

Studio Emiko Will Have Less Involvement in Future Drillimation Games Starting Next Title, Despite Hacking Incident

Studio Emiko has made the decision to shift to VTubing full-time after the disastrous launch of the Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity beta. Additionally, in the week before the game released, Hosokawa got locked out of Discord after her account was hacked. We are in the process of trying to recover it, but we still haven’t had any answers after two weeks.

Over the past two months, the website’s subscribers increased by 157 for a total of 1,844 today.

Drillimation’s followers have continued to see substantial growth following the February recovery. As of April 28, 2025, the follower count had increased by 90 for a total of 6,652 followers. Drillimation seems to be reeling in more followers from Japan after many U.S.-based followers left. The liking activity on their posts continues to receive acceptable levels.

Drillimation’s follower count in Bluesky has continued to grow. In March shortly after the beta for Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity released, Drillimation hit 1,500 followers. Over the past two months, the follower count has increased by 230 for a total of 1,651 followers today.

Drillimation has continued to reach thousands of players in the days leading up to the release of Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity. Over the past two months:

• Content was viewed over 52,000 times.
• Followers slow down, increasing only by 73 for a total of 3,789 followers.

Drillimation has continued to grow. We were hoping to reach 1,000 subscribers by this summer, but I don’t think we will fulfill it. Can we have it completed by the end of this summer? Anyway…
