February 2025 Monthly Digest

The first month of 2025 is over, and we’ve already had a strong start with our website this year. This month, we will produce some content that you will hopefully love.

Key Developments

Touhou Kichouden Beta released

Two weeks ago, the beta for Touhou Kichouden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria 2 has finally released. This is the long-awaited sequel to the original Touhou Kourinden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria which released last spring.

Statistics

Over the past two months, the website’s subscribers increased by 212 for a total of 1,584 today.

While the number of followers has managed to go up following the November loss from the 2024 U.S. presidential election, President Trump’s second inauguration made it even worse. Following a controversy in which Elon Mollusk gave a salute similar to the Nazi salute during the inauguration, Drillimation lost nearly 20 followers from the week of his inauguration. As such, the follower count had only gone up to 6,526 as of January 27, 2025.

Drillimation is still experiencing a growth explosion on Bluesky. Over the past two months, the number of followers increased by 458 for a total of 1,284. On December 19, 2024, Drillimation crossed the quadruple-digit mark of 1,000 followers.

Drillimation has returned to their marketing strategy on Instagram in an effort to accrue more followers. Organic views remain very low, and all of the tools that could help boost engagement require subscriptions. Over the past two months:

• Content was viewed over 17,500 times with an interaction rate of 10.3%.
• Followers increased by 50 for a total of 3,634 followers.

YouTube

Drillimation has continued to produce content on YouTube with substantial viewership. Over the past two months:

• Content was viewed over 14,000 times.
• Subscribers increased by 48 for a total of 774 followers.

Future Goals

Drillimation Systems started work on their next project Touhou Chouhatsuyou ~ Burgeoning Tresses of Longevity. A first look video on the game will be released tomorrow, and February will be dedicated to developing the game.
