The spooky season has ended and the holiday season is already underway.

Key Developments

Drillimation can proudly announce that the development of Touhou Kichouden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria 2 has officially completed and has entered post-production. Legends say that if we start a project in January, we could finish by December. It happened to be finished two months before!

Statistics

This website’s subscribers increased by 204 over the past two months from 1,069 to 1,273 today.

Twitter

October was a bumpy ride. Ever since Twitter made changes to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that allows them to use the content they post to train their artificial intelligence machine Grok, the site saw an exodus. In our weekly reports we receive from Fedica (which we also use to make Follow Friday tweets), half the users who unfollow either deactivated their accounts or were simply bots that were suspended. Over the past two months, the number of followers increased by 60 for a total of 6,508 followers. On average, tweets receive an average of 5,000 views a week.

BlueSky

In response to the user agreement changes, Drillimation Systems, along with Studio Emiko, set up BlueSky accounts. As of November 2024, Drillimation has 325 followers following the account, most of whom are other game developers.

Instagram

Drillimation has again continued to boost their posts, though the average number of likes declined. Nevertheless:

• Content was viewed over 18,000 times over the past two months, with one in four of those being organic and the rest from ads.
• Followers increased by 185 for a total of 3,576 followers.

YouTube

Drillimation returned to their normal programming after the 10th anniversary celebration in August. It happened to return to their normal statistics with the production and output of Super Mario RPG remixes garnering more views than all other videos. Over the past two months:

• Content was viewed over 15,000 times.
• Subscribers increased by 45 for a total of 693 subscribers.

Future Goals

Drillimation has already begun preproduction on their next project as mentioned in the October 2024 development log. The game, however, will not begin development until mid-January when the open beta for Touhou Kichouden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria 2 launches. In the meantime, last-minute bug fixes are underway before the game is unveiled and signups for the open beta begin at the Erie Anime Fest on November 10.
