Bringing My Influence Around the World

I am a person who has been in the video game industry for six years now. I entered the industry so that I can amplify my voice and see the world. From my native North America and beyond the borders of the United States and Canada, I’ve brought it to Asia and Europe.

At first, I never really thought about joining the video game industry at a young age, but I loved it. If I wanted to export games across the world, I would need to travel across and meet players. I first visited Japan in 2019 as part of a class trip to Asia. I knew I needed to visit so that I can learn a little more of my target audience for my games.

I’ve visited far from just Japan. In fact, here are the list of countries I have been to:

  • United States (native location)
  • Canada (will probably visit more often)
  • Japan (will probably visit more often)
  • China
  • Indonesia
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland

  1. You say you meet many gamers around the world. How do you deal with the multiple language barriers that might arise in such game development in different countries?
