Drillimation Liking Activity On Twitter Back to Normal after Twitter Crashed Over the Holiday Weekend

Drillimation Systems has gotten a sigh of relief after a glitch on Twitter caused automation issues over the Canada Day holiday weekend.

Twitter is unable to disclose what caused this, but over the past week, Twitter began requiring that all tweets be viewed with a Twitter account. However, over the weekend, Twitter’s servers overheated and melted down. On the morning of July 1, users started having issues viewing Twitter, stating they were being rate limited, and it left users scrambling. To address the server issues, Twitter limited users to how many tweets they could read a day.

For Drillimation Systems, almost every day is hectic. The social media activity begins at 6:40AM and ends at 10:30PM each day. After doing this for the past four years, the threat of Twitter collapsing looms each year after Elon Musk took over the company late last year. The past few days came with stress when sections of Twitter, including liking and posting crashed. This left Drillimation having to do this overtime.

Drillimation had no issues on July 1, even though tweets weren’t appearing in Drillimation’s Discord server as normal. The real problems happened on July 2, with the Drillimation Twitter account being unable to tweet for eight hours, lasting from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time. It happened again the following day, on July 3, this time being shorter with it lasting from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

This is not the first time Drillimation had this issue. The same problem happened in March 2020 when a similar bug paralyzed Drillimation’s activity. Now that the system is working again, Drillimation’s activity should go smoothly. The technical difficulties have had lasting effects on Drillimation.
