Drillimation Systems today released bug fixes for three of the Touhou Project NES Demakes, being Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland, Touhou 4: Lotus Land Story, and Touhou 5: Mystic Square. These bug fixes include the lives not displaying correctly when having seven or more lives (zero counts as life). When this happens, it displays a number.
Some other issues with some enemies in Lotus Land Story and Mystic Square have also been fixed.
