As another school year comes to a close, welcome to summertime. And Drillimation is here to help you enjoy this wonderful time of the year. The summer is when the beaches across the globe become packed and full of people. It’s also the perfect time for Kagami, her mother, and her younger sister to transform into ningyo and enjoy their time.
I have a lot to say, so let me dust off my keyboard and get to the news.
Touhou 5: Mystic Square NES Demake Releases This Friday
We made it. The final Touhou Project NES Demake will be released this Friday. With the release of the Touhou 5: Mystic Square NES Demake, the entire saga will be complete and all mainline Touhou Project games will be playable on PC.
Some of you guys were hyped for the release. So was I. A demonstration video for the game will be released on the same day as the release. We only have a few things left: the itch.io graphics and background. That’s it. After that, we will focus our efforts on creating the trailer for Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess.
Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess Demo to release on June 24, 2022
We are creating some graphics to be used in the trailer for Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess. We will no longer be using Adobe Illustrator for making vector renders of characters. Adobe Animate will be our choice of software on the MacBook for creating vector renders of characters.
Time is running short for this. We need to burn the demo’s ROM, create the extra stage, do some of the endings, etc. Hopefully, we don’t have a delay in releasing the demo.
Studio Emiko’s Discord Return
Akira Akagi Games is now Studio Emiko. Last week, she celebrated her quinceanera and can now use most social media services in her region legally. A few days ago, she set up the Twitter accounts for herself and a Raiko Horikawa VTuber she intends on using. However, she still has some technical challenges she must tackle. Getting set up is the most difficult part of creating a VTuber profile. However, she is not expected to return to Discord until later this week or early next week, as she is still creating graphics for her social media profiles.
In the meantime, you can take the chance to follow her Twitter profiles. If you follow Drillimation’s official Twitter account, we will retweet everything they tweet.
