Within four months of its upload on the same day Chuhou Joutai 1 released two years ago on Steam, the PC-98 Touhou-style remix of Tough Guy Alert from Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story has now become the most popular video on their YouTube channel. The previous record holder was the trailer for Touhou 1: The Highly Responsive to Prayers NES Demake, having held it for a few years.
The video was initially uploaded on January 22, 2022. Views originally were slow, getting only 266 views within the first month of its upload. Views quadrupled to 1,092 by March 22 and doubled to 2,034 by April 6. Views slowed by that point until May 19, when views started picking up again. At that point, the video had been viewed more than 2,500 times.
On the day this post was published, the video has been viewed nearly 3,000 times, making it the first video on Drillimation’s YouTube channel to achieve that milestone.
