On Friday, November 5, 2021, Drillimation Systems launched their first Super Mario Maker 2 livestream. The speedrun involved a series of courses being played in succession. The Prophet Driller also inputted the level codes for each stage being played, as well as reading the names of the creators, even if their name was displayed using Japanese characters.
Drillimation is hoping to livestream again on Friday, November 12, 2021. This would involve more levels to be played. The reduced output size with the Nintendo Switch allows advertisements for other Drillimation products to be displayed.
