Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland NES Demake is now in development

Greetings Drillimation fans.

We are proud to announce that the Touhou 2: The Story of Eastern Wonderland NES demake is now in development, after being stuck in the planning phase for three months. We decided to wait until GameMaker Studio 2.3 released so that we can start development. During that time, we were drawing sprites for the game as we prefer to do all of our stuff in batches. First is sprites, the music, and finally the programming. We did the same procedure with the Touhou 1: The Highly Responsive to Prayers NES Demake.

This game will be a remake of the aforementioned game but with some differences. We do intend on including Chuhou Joutai‘s system to ensure the game can be accessible to new players. Make sure you follow Drillimation’s social media platforms to stay updated while the game is being made. We hope to release the demake by October 2, 2020.
