This prompt asks you to name the top three pet peeves, or biggest annoyances in your life. There are too many things that are common to list and share with millions of other people, such as academic challenges and hardships, as well as the ones in public. In fact, the Mildly Infuriating subreddit has people explaining their unique annoyances.
Parental Interference
Depending on how things go, living with your parents can be a living hell for some, including me. Trying to work on something can be annoying because they’ll bombard you with random interruptions. Most of the time, your plans are objected to and you’ll be informed about stuff you don’t care about.
Living Near a Fire Station
If you live near a fire station, good luck. Every now and then, they will blare their sirens at the worst possible times, sometimes three or more times in a single day. Sometimes, they’ll parade through your neighborhood whenever somebody has a birthday, wedding anniversary, or some other happy horsecrap around the holidays. They don’t just deal with the things burning, they’re also responsible for medical emergencies as well.
TV Signal Dropping Out Due to Heavy Traffic or Poor Climate
I don’t watch television as often as I used to, but I always like staying up to date with the nightly news. When the sun is shining and the neighborhood is quiet, things are clear and crisp. But ever since I dropped cable in favor of Roku, I now have to use an antenna to get a signal, which becomes weak when a car drives by or if there’s an increased amount of traffic. Same thing goes if the weather isn’t in the antenna’s favor.

Funnily enough, this happens to parents too! My son seems to have some sort of radar that goes off whenever I’m seated in front of computers.
All of the situations you mentioned do sound quite annoying!

I totally empathise with you. But peeves change as one ages, and when circumstances and situations change.

Parents and tv signals dropping I can relate to. My third would be teachers who wanted me to behave in class. Very annoying.

I have an interesting question for you: first it was my parents. Growing up, I understood many things. 2) injustice and 3) falsehood. These last two are beyond me. I cannot understand them. Your post is magnificent.
