What’s With Me When I’m Not Home

Whenever I leave the studio, I’m always bringing four or five things with me. These include, but are not limited to:

  • iPad
  • Phone
  • MP3 Player
  • Wallet (also contains my driver’s license)
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Car keys (if I’m driving)

Why am I carrying all these things? To ensure I don’t die of boredom. When you travel to something boring, you’ll always need something to keep yourself busy. Sure, a phone, tablet, or handheld gaming console would be your best bet, but an MP3 player is necessary because there may be sounds that one may not wish to hear. Your wallet is also another choice because you need your driver’s license when you drive, as well as some cash or credit cards to pay off stuff.

You wouldn’t want to lose one or all, so it’s best to keep it in a bag or backpack.

  1. What a cool list of stuff you bring along! I fully agree with each one, even the Switch, because I want to try one. I never have, and I know the controls will be really hard for these aging hands, but my mind is sharp! I must talk to my mind about forming a healthy relationship with my hand coordination! I just love the idea of being able to play the first Final Fantasy or Animal Crossing. My son is so agile and can probably game with his eyes shut!!!😂😂😂 Also the link in this blog about “sounds” is so very interesting! Thank you once more for the great read and for widening my horizons! 💫✨🤗
