The Chief Executive Officer Position – Always a Leader Over Followers

I am the founder and CEO of Drillimation Systems. This means I am a leader. The client and players are followers. When you are a leader, you have more control over your organization whereas the followers have less control.

Small companies usually have to rely on help from larger companies in order to grow. It is absolutely possible to create a successful company. In fact, it’s become feasible for entrepreneurs to start something fresh without needing to be funded by investment companies. Striking deals with larger corporations does come with financial advantages, but it doesn’t mean they can rely on these to create profitable and successful corporations.

There’s multiple advantages of being a leader of a company rather than follower:

• Content creators have easy and immediate access to distribution and marketing services at their disposal that can take their business to a whole another level. The internet has made it easy for creators to reach new audiences and grow their follower counts.
• More control over your assets. You have total creative freedom with your assets and you are put in charge over its marketing, distribution, deadlines, and everything else in between.
• Being a follower means you sign away some of or all your moral rights. The leader usually profits from most revenue and pays some of it as wages to the followers. Being a leader means you receive more revenue. It does become a satisfying reward regardless.
• Being a leader is hard work. Success can’t happen overnight. You won’t have the financial backing from a larger corporation or investment firm. The leader is in charge of their successes and must be highly organized and efficient.

If you want to have complete control over your future, the leadership position is for you. You can drive things in whatever direction you desire. There is absolutely no guarantee that you can be successful in that position.
