Back in October, Drillimation released a video tutorial for drawing in the PC-98 Touhou art direction. While it gained significant viewership and helped create a tutorial because of the lack of one, one user complained the original tutorial didn’t have enough hair. Drillimation created a new tutorial specifically for this subject.
Drawing hair can be difficult since it is comprised of millions of strands. A way around it, specifically within the field of anime, is by drawing it in clumps. The result is seamless and users never really know the hair is there.
