Okay. This is Me at 24. What’s Next for the Prophet’s Life?

Every person’s life is a story of progress and resilience, moving forward every year until they reach a stopping point. Today officially marks my 24th birthday. Every year, we get older, but that also means death will also get closer as well. No one person can live for eternity.

Last year around this time, Chuhou Joutai 3: Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess had released a few weeks prior. Up until today, hundreds of players have joined our player base. But unfortunately, the mollusk had electronic artsed Twitter, rebranding it to his motif of X, and creating a massive exodus.

As I begin a new year in my life, I will write the next chapter of Drillimation, putting progress and resilience first. If I’m asked to define Drillimation, I would tell them that I have endless possibilities. One of these possibilities is having Emiko Hosokawa direct her own title. We had come together to create something new for anyone to enjoy. We want to build more bridges around the world, and help comfort those who were exposed to toxic areas on the web.

After Three Nights of Scarlet Abscess released, players were sending us clear messages to create something new. Not one, but two projects were created: Touhou Kourinden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria and Touhou Meijinka ~ Song of Divine Tempest. That has always been part of our philosophy – to go where no other developers have gone.

I created the Chuhou Joutai trilogy to fundamentally change the way players play danmaku games. Every time we would release a new game, we create an act of hope. When I stood there during that time, I shared with you a story about a Japanese-American boy, a youkai-born idol girl, a half-youkai princess, and their exploits. These were all created in my hometown, and in America.

We’re also making sure that every player has access to an affordable experience. No parent should have to drive their kid to an arcade because they want to play the hit new game that becomes a sensation. We want all video game experiences to never be forgotten. As the industry evolved, we’ve seen players who quit playing video games altogether and moved to something else. We remember the players who left our circle. We want to create experiences that shall never be left behind.

In addition, we’ve also witnessed devastating aftermaths in the wake of the Syria-Turkey earthquake, the Hawaii wildfires, and the Israel-Hamas war. These communities will rebuild in the long term and bring players back to where they were. At home, Drillimation has braved the worst blizzard in North American history last Christmas.

Imagine what it’s like stand around in the aftermath of a natural disaster. With faith in God, every person has a soul that will create something good. Imagine how much courage and character that I have, and everyone else. Players earn my trust. We know the people who put their lives first at work every day, and sometimes it is too much. We hope for success and can’t turn away when we’ve selected a critical decision.

I understand the most basic principles. We always do what our parents did at our best. We stand with them as long as they take. My innovation will pave the way for the future, and for the video game industry as a whole. New technologies are developed every day, and becomes the strongest position than anyone else in the world. It’s all real progress.

As I stand here today, I will continue to be optimistic for Drillimation in the future. It is a name that will be remembered. We will expand beyond our capacity if we do it right. May God bless you all, and our players.
