We’re talking retro here.
Drillimation’s Pixiv page, which was established over the weekend, has already seen a strong start with all uploads reaching a combined total of 2,500 views. Every person has some form of uniqueness, and it is no doubt that Drillimation expresses one of these. The Drillimation Pixiv page will have a main focus on 1990s style art, not just being limited to the watercolor style art but the pixel art of Drillimation as well.
Most of the art produced is fanart of existing Touhou Project characters, as well as the characters originally created by Drillimation for their existing projects such as the Chuhou Joutai trilogy. While some art consists of characters wearing their original outfits, a significant portion of characters are given unique outfits ranging from characters dressed in kimono or hakama combined, or even extravagant ball gowns. Not all characters in these pieces of art will get these costumes, though. To avoid boring the audience, characters will be given outfits spanning a wide variety of cultures as well as current trends.
Drillimation will also accept requests for future art.
