Backstory

Emiri Kanzaki will be the stage 3 midboss and boss in Touhou Meijinka ~ Song of Divine Tempest. Emiri is a former Narukamite who still swears loyalty to the House Horikawa, and shows up at times in order to protect its members.

Her backstory is a heart-breaking one, according to the Matriarch herself: Emiri’s cousin was murdered in the past, and she swears revenge for him. An encounter with “someone familiar” who grants her the power she is currently having whips her to the person she is now: Loyal to God and swears to protect every single of Their children.

“My holy mission won’t stop unless every being on Earth is safe from the clutches of the Devil and the infernal legions” – said Emiri.

Now, with the mysterious concert going on outside the Great Hakurei Divide, Emiri is appointed by the Matriarch in order to maintain the security of the concert and prevent any intruders coming in.
