What is the Drillimation Danmaku Universe Beta Program?
The Drillimation Danmaku Universe Beta Program allows players to try out pre-release versions of Drillimation games before they release on Steam and itch.io. The feedback you provide on the quality and usability helps us identify and fix issues, and make the final product even better. Please note these versions you play are games that have not been commercially released yet by Drillimation Systems, so it may contain errors, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies, and may not function as well as titles that have been commercially released.
How do I download the betas?
You can download the betas from the itch.io page of participating games. If you signed up at an Erie Anime Fest convention and paid the entrance fee, you will receive the beta free of charge in your email. Please note that a valid email address is required to be eligible for this benefit.
How do I provide my feedback to Drillimation?

Who can participate in the Open Beta?
The Open Beta program is open to all players who have a valid email address and a computer that meets the system requirements. If you sign up for the beta through the itch.io page of the game, you may need to create an itch.io account. An account is not required if you sign up at the Erie Anime Fest.
Do I need to pay a fee to join the program?
Yes. You will need to pay the equivalent of the game’s purchase price in order to participate.
What kind of compensation do I receive for signing up?
If you sign up, you will gain access to the full version of the game at launch. If you have a Steam account, you will also receive a free Steam key to the full version of the game.
Is the Open Beta confidential?
If the game has not been formally announced, it is considered confidential information. This means you should not install the game on any systems that you don’t directly control or share with others. Additionally, you should not post screenshots, tweet, or publicly post information about the beta versions, as well as discuss or demonstrate it to others who have not signed up. This confidentiality clause expires once the product is announced and/or released.
How does Drillimation contact me about the Open Beta program?
We use the email address you provided when you sign up. By signing up, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
I received an invitation email about the Open Beta program. What should I do?
If you received an invitation email about the Open Beta program from a friend who signed up, you are also entitled to play.
What do I do if I have an issue with the beta version of a game?
The beta versions of these games are not the final product, so they may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies, and may not function as well as the released games. Please visit the Support Page for tips and solutions to the most common issues experienced by players. If you find a bug in a beta versions, you should report it to us on the official Drillimation Bug Tracker on GitHub. A GitHub account is required in order to report issues. Signing up is not difficult and only takes a minute.
